Jordan William Davidson was born on March 10, 2005 at Mercy Medical Center in Redding, California. He was delivered by emergency caesarian section and arrived at 6:53 a.m.

He weighed 2 lbs. 6.6 oz. and was 13″ long.

On December 20, 2004, Jordan was diagnosed with Trisomy 18, a rare genetic disorder. His parents, Charles and Jenny Davidson, were told that he would probably not survive to term and, if born alive, would not live long. We were advised by two separate doctors to terminate the pregnancy.

In spite of this tragic and devastating news, we chose to carry Jordan as long as God would allow us. We were looking forward to his birth and spending time with him. We prayed for miracles and trusted God with Jordan’s life.
We were blessed with our miracle on March 10, 2005. Jordan was the most precious and beautiful baby we had ever seen.

Our beautiful son lived for exactly 32 hours and 7 minutes before he slipped into the arms of Jesus. He was surrounded by his family and many of our dear friends.

He left this world on March 11, 2005 at 3:00 p.m.

Jordan’s life was short, but precious. He touched many lives before and after his birth.

This site was created to honor the memory of our son and to tell the story of the miracle of Jordan William Davidson.
