Hello, this is Hollie and Collin Olson, we are from Bismark ND. God has blessed us with an amazing son, Gabriel William, we would like to share him with you. When Collin and I first got pregnant after a heartbreaking miscarrige we were so excited. I had my first ultrasound and won;t ever forget when my doctor called me at home to tell us they found some abnormalities On the ultrasound. When I got off the phone all I could do was fall to my knees and just pray to God for strength, knowing that whatever He had planned we would get through and that God doesn’t make mistakes. Collin and I went in for another ultrasound, and then the ultrasound came back with more abnormalities. We both just kept praying that God would heal our little baby and just kept our faith hoping for a miracle. Then on Dec. 28th, 2005, we went to Minneapolis and found out that we wesre having a little boy. We just hoped that the doctors would tell us there was nothing wrong and our baby would be OK. But we found out that Gabriel had Trisomy 13. We will never ever forget that day, hearing that our baby was not compatible with life. The doctors of course give you that choice of terminating the pregnancy but we both prayed and I knew I was carrying this wonderful baby for a reason. We prayed for a miracle. Every kick and every time we could hear the heartbeat gave us that peace of knowing that Gabriel was our little boy. We were also feeling so lucky to being able to experience the joy of having a baby… Read the rest of the story at Gabriel’s web site, www.anangelnamedgabriel.com
